Kenzie is getting so big!

She is already 10 month old and getting so big. She is going to be one before we know it! She is a master crawler and has started walking a little bit. Crawling is much faster so after a couple steps she sits down and crawls. Grampy gave her the nickname of sidewinder because she crawls with one foot and one knee. It's really cute. She she is mobile now, she getting into everything! She loves all finger foods but isn't interested in anything I have to feed her. She prefers to feed herself and likes to throw food down to the dogs. Some of her favorites are bananas, green beans, boiled eggs, and noodles. It is hilarious to watch her eat the noodles. She slurps them up

A lady in my ward has this cute business that sells baby items. She used Kenzie to model these cute little hats and a couple of outfits. That hat picures are awesome. We haven't seen the other pictures yet. But we are super excited to see them!

Kenzie is a Daddy's girl now. When she wakes up in the moring she calls for Daddy until he comes and gets her. She gets so excited when Daddy comes out of the office for lunch and when he comes in to get her when he gets off work and I start work. Anytime she see's her Daddy she gets a huge smile on her face! It's adorable.

We took Kenzie to the Living Planet Aquarium a couple of weeks ago. She absolutely loved it. She loved watching the fishes. We ended up getting season passes and have taken her a couple other times. She loves it every time and gets so excited.

I saved the best picture for last. In case you don't get the significance of the picture, Kenzie is going to be a big sister! I am 14 weeks pregnant and due on November 1. We are super excited about our new arrival.

The Nursery

Ive been meaning to post the pictures of her nursery. I absolutely love how it turned out. It has become my favorite room in our house. We spend a lot of time in the nursery. Kenzie loves to look around at all of the colors and watch her mobile in her crib.

Two Months

I know this post it really late, sorry. My baby turned two months on August 23. We did shots and a check up on the same day she turned two months. She is a happy healthy baby. Although, shots were absolutely terrible and it broke my heart to see her get pricked and hear her screaming. She didn't feel very good for a couple of day's after she got the shots. Here are her stats from her appointment:

Length: 22 3/4 in 66% (Yep, my baby is in the 66th percentile for height. I never thought that would happen)
Weight: 10# 5 oz 36%
Head Circ: 38.4 cm 41%

This is the morning after her appointment. She was running a fever and didn't feel good. The only way I could get her to stay sleeping is if she was holding onto my hand. So, she took her entire morning nap like this.

After a couple of days, she started acting like her normal self! She is a happy such a happy, smiley baby! We couldn't be more happy! We sure do love this little girl.

This is her first time in her bumbo. She loves to sit in it!

Eight Weeks

Time has gone by so quickly since Makenzie was born. She is already eight weeks and has grown up so much. We have her two month check up next week and I will post all of her stats. I think she weighs about 9.5 pounds. Her look has changed so much. She doesn't really look like a newborn anymore. She is absolutely gorgeous.
She is such a good baby. She is sleeping eight hours during the night. I am absolutely loving this and it is so nice to have energy again. She has started smiling and giggling and loves watching her mobile in her crib. She hated bath time at first but she loves it now. She kicks her legs in the water and giggles. She doesn't like it when it's time to get out. She also love to go on walks. I try to take her on a walk every day. I am currently counting that as my workout. :) We are so blessed to have her in our home with us. She makes each and every day an adventure. We love her more than we ever thought was possible. I have enjoyed my time off work spending every second of the day with her. I start back to work next week and I'm a little nervous about it. Luckily, I work from home so she will be close by with her Daddy. I hope we can make the adjustment to me working smoothly.

Makenzie Ann Bigler

Makenzie was born on Wednesday, June 23! I'm sorry it took so long to make the post but I've been enjoying every second I can with her! I was induced at 7 am on Wednesday morning and she finally born at 6:46 pm. She weighed 7 pounds, 3 ounces and was 18.5 inches long. She is absolutely beautiful. It was the most amazing, spiritual experience! We are so glad that she is finally here. We love her more than we could have ever imagined. I have enjoyed every second of being a Mommy and I'm so grateful that Heavenly Father has blessed us with her!

When she was only 15 hours old, we had some professional
pictures done of her. American Fork Hospital is contracted with this photographer and they offer their services to all of the Moms. I thought it would be so fun to have them done but didn't plan on purchasing them.
When I saw the pictures, I couldn't resist. They turned out so good. I wish I would have known when they were coming so that I could have gotten myself ready. I even
have wet hair in some of the pictures since the photographer offered to add some more for us. I am still very happy with how they turned out. Some of my favorites are included with this post. If you want to view all of them, you can view them at www.bellababyphotography.com with password 0623makenziebigler.
Bret was able to take a week off of work to be with us! He has been a huge help and is such a wonderful Dad! He has been so good to get up and help me in the middle of the night. The second she cries, he is there to make everything is all better. He went into work for a while today and we sure did miss him. It's going to be a huge adjustment with him being at work all day and we are going to miss him like crazy. The second he got home today, he was ready to hold and play with Makenzie. I love watching him interact with her and hold her. My love for him has grown so much over the past week.

A little contest!

Today is the due date for Makenzie to make her grand entrance into this world! I hope today is the day. Since she hasn't arried yet, I thought it would be fun to have a little contest. How much do you think she will weigh? How long do you think she will be? Lastly, when do you think she will finally make her grand entrance into this world? I will think of some prize for whoever wins!

We are getting a little anxious for her to get here. I have a list of things that are suppose to help you go into labor, nothing has worked so far. :( I have everything ready to go and we can't wait to meet her. I hope that we don't have too much longer to go! I've had several showers and everyone has spoiled me! Makenzie has a lot of stuff and it is all so cute! Thanks everyone for coming and supporting me and for the wonderful gifts. The nursery is almost complete and it looks so cute. Thanks to my Mom who sewed and designed everything in the nursery! She is amazing!

32 weeks and counting

I can't believe that I will be 32 weeks on Wednesday! Only 8 more weeks! The time really has gone fast. Here's to hoping the next eight weeks will go just as fast for us. We are so excited for our little girl to join us and we are having way to much fun shopping and gettting things ready for her arrival. We got a beautiful crib off of KSl a couple of weeks ago, my fabric is waiting to be sewn with my Mom next week, and we have choosen paint colors for the nursery. So, we'll start painting soon as well! I can't wait to get it all put together! I have my first shower on Saturday and I'm super excited. I have so much more to post about but I don't have pictures with me so it'll have to wait. But, I promise I'll post about our California Trip sometime this week!
